OUR STORY

Why We Started A&J Hot Takes

A&J Hot Takes started the same way a lot of great conversations do: over a couple of drinks and a movie trailer.

Andre and Joe would regularly get together to watch the latest trailers, debate casting choices, share theories about where a story might go, and argue about whether Hollywood was making the right decisions. Before long, those casual conversations became the highlight of the night.

“Why aren't we recording these conversations?”

That question became A&J Hot Takes.

Today, every episode is an extension of those nights: honest reactions, bold opinions, plenty of laughs, and the kind of movie conversations we would be having even if the cameras were not rolling.

Whether we agree, disagree, or completely split on a trailer, the goal has always been the same: have fun talking movies and invite everyone else into the conversation.
